At StudioMX, we constantly monitor and look for ways in which we can improve. We meet weekly to discuss how we’re doing and ask our clients on a regular basis to give us feedback. We have “four focuses” that guide us in delivering a great experience for all those we work work with:
TEAM, COMMUNICATION, QUALITY, and ON TIME (T.C.Q.O.)
TEAM: We take care of each other and our clients. We have each other’s backs. Team is the first and foremost and we will take care of each other before all else. For example, each week at StudioMX in our huddle, one of the Team is recognized for their efforts and is given the “#highfive award”. Once a Team member is given the award, it’s their job for the next week to observe and decide who is the next #highfive recipient. Here’s a video of the process in action!
COMMUNICATION: Working in the same room is ideal for open and efficient communication, and we welcome any and all opportunities to do so. We’re also great communicators from afar too. We use Basecamp on each of our projects to communicate and coordinate with each other, our customers, and their other consultants. Having a regular check-in session on the phone or on Zoom for at least 5 minutes daily helps us stay in tune with our customers and the projects.
QUALITY: We become an extension of the companies and people that we work with. As you might imagine, the standards or requirements differs with each and every one of our clients. Regardless, we know what the industry deems to be generally acceptable and what isn’t and work to get it done right the first time. BIM, VDC, and rendering work involves highly specific details and information. We know that our future as a company requires that we have met the expected level of quality before we hit “send”.
ON TIME: Your clients impose deadlines on you and your team that are absolutely critical to project success. We inherit those deadlines, treating them as seriously as you do. Communicating where we’re at in the process and being diligent in getting answers to questions is key to being ON TIME. Keeping clear and concise tasks lists with assignments and giving regular updates on progress is our way of making sure we get things done when they need to be done. And sooner.
